About My Father

My father was a chemical engineer by profession but a beekeeper at heart. In my mind's eye, I see him entirely covered by honeycomb and raw honey. I attempted to capture his almost mythical connection to the natural world around him as he harmoniously melded and became one with it.
The image was created mainly by texture, often used in Coptic textiles.
